The Wills and Probate Department for RG Law participated in the Accumulator Challenge 2024.
During February, the Wills and Probate Department set themselves a number of challenges, including a 30-day marathon run and a pub quiz. All the money raised went to St Leonard's Hospice, which provides care and support to people with terminal illnesses or life-limiting illnesses.
The Best St Leonard's Hospice Challenge
The 10-mile walk around York was the most engaging because the local community contributed by giving money. However, by the end of the 10-mile walk, everyone had very heavy buckets to carry. York is so beautiful. It was a wonderful opportunity to take in the sites and be grateful that we live and work in a wonderful city.
'We were so excited to attend the awards at the Delta Marriott Hotel on Monday because the local business that had collected the most money would be announced. We had everything crossed. We came fourth out of nine, so we are very proud of what we have accomplished,' said Julie Butters, Legal Assistant at RG Law. 'Other awards to win included the best team member and most innovative fundraising ideas, which were all good fun.'
